CAO Gold cigars are characterized by a smooth draw, and a mellow aroma of toasted nuts and vanilla, with a finish of subtle pepper tones and anise. An excellent introduction to the CAO range of premium cigars.

CAO Gold Maduro began as a blend from CAO's 'Concept Series' of cigars, housed in the CAO "Escaparate" at the company's headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. The CAO "Escaparate" showcases over 400,000 cigars, all from prototype blends that are in various stages of development. "CAO Gold Maduro was one of our very first concept cigars," explained President Tim Ozgener. "Over the past two years, we received such overwhelmingly positive feedback from guests of CAO who sampled the blend that we decided to bring CAO Gold Maduro cigars to the marketplace."

Packaged in wooden boxes of 20 cigars, CAO Gold Maduro cigars are available in six shapes: CAO Gold Maduro Corona (5.5" x 42), CAO Gold Maduro Robusto (5" x 50), CAO Gold Maduro Corona Gorda (6.5" x 50), CAO Gold Maduro Churchill (7" x 48), CAO Gold Maduro Torpedo (6.25" 52), and CAO Gold Maduro Double Corona (7.5" x 54).

CAO International, Inc. is the producer of some of the country's top lines of premium cigars, Meerschaum pipes and pipe tobaccos. Founded by Cano A. Love it, my favorite CAO cigar. The CAO Gold Robusto is a nice mild cigar,worth twice the money. This is my reward at the end of the day. Sit around a campfire and truly enjoy.

I had a CAO Gold Robusto when I was first starting out with cigars. Seemed to me to be a bit too mild but I did move to medium bodied stuff quite quickly. Would be great for a first timer.

The CAO Gold robusto is the best cigar I've smoked in a long time. If I were to use the Cigar Aficionado scale to rate it, I've give it a 93+ score. All the flavor you could ask for is there and the aromas were divine.

A well constructed mild cigar. Nice burn, nice flavors and thick smoke. If you're looking for a good quality milder cigar, I would recommed this one.

This is very nice mild smoke. Great construction, great burn with a great looking light wrapper. However, I do have to say that I prefer the CAO Brazilia line over Gold. They have more flavour and are full bodied. That just my opinion.
