This cigar compares very favourably with the current Montecristo products. Just got two boxes of Monte #4s, bought at a Cuban government outlet (Casa del Habanos) and quite frankly at 110 USD they are grossly overpriced compared to Cusano CCs, especially when one considers a bundle of CCs is less than 50 US$! I find CCs have an easy draw and full flavour, compared to Cubans that are often too tight to smoke easily and can lack in flavor. Maybe the Cuban soil is worn out, it is, after all, a small island. The Cusano CC line is very satisfactory for those who smoke a cigar for pleasure rather than perceived snob appeal.

Wow what a great cigar for under $3. Well constructed, perfect draw, nice looking label. The label must be meant to look like a cohiba, but I acctually like the CC label better with its pearlesent white and crisp text, very nice. Starts off peppery with a hint of spice. A med to full bodied taste that has a solid coffee taste with some leather. Very good regardless of price.

"Super-Draw" May 23, 2005
I have smoked only one of the CC Coronas, but it was a good one. These cigars are a very well priced. If I smoked cigars on a daily basis, I would choose this brand. One of the first things I judge a cigar on is its draw. This one did not let me down.

"Full-bodied" November 16, 2004
I like a full-bodied robusto which is what you get with this CC. Starts off with some sweet notes, evolving into a spice, pepper, and a coffee aftertaste. The draw was very easy and smooth. I buy the bundles - the price is attractive making this a good everyday cigar.
